After another summer of hard training and lots of shooting, I’m excited to test out my skills and fitness against the rest of the world! Since placing 4th on the IBU Cup last season my eye is on the podium! Also on the radar is gaining more World Cup experience and going to the World Championships in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic in February.
The racing season will start in Sweden with IBU Cup races in Idre on November 24 & 25, and then Beitostolen, Norway the following weekend. From there I will make my way down to Central Europe to Austria, Slovenia and/or Italy for more World Cup or IBU Cup races for the month of December. I’ll spend Christmas back in Canmore with my family, then return to either the World Cup or IBU Cup, depending on results. You can check out my calendar here for the potential races I will be at.
At the end of the season, National Championships are being held in Whistler/Callaghan Valley, B.C. from March 16-20, 2012. Come out and cheer if you are in the area!
